Parents with kids at home: what activities are you doing with your kids? This is an open, unformatted discussion thread for parents to suggest and request ideas and resources.
Hi all! I'm looking for science TV shows to watch with my six year old. Sid the Science Kid is good but maybe a bit young for him and the PBS documentaries we tried were a little too advanced. Streaming on Amazon Prime is a plus.
Our biggest challenge for the next N months is to approximate speech therapy, physical therapy, and occupational therapy at home. Here are the links I've got so far.
I would love links to kid-friendly exercise videos! Our kid is four and probably just getting to the point of being able to do kid yoga or similar. Dance workout videos would be awesome too. Feel free to use this thread to post links for any age.
Live in aunt by choice rather than parent, but some of what we're doing with twin almost-3-year-olds is: - We have some large boxes from a supply run. These are becoming garages and ramps and things for cars. TBH I think I'm going to have an obstacle course for them in a couple days. Or possibly a Rube Goldberg device. - Taking neighborhood walks - Trying to keep to a schedule similar to their daycare schedule so everybody has structure
